ID Saw Blades

Winter has been making ID saw blades since 1958. In 1979, Winter became the first blade manufacturer to be able to manufacture 27" diameter blades and in 1983 achieved the world first 34" ID saw blade. Over the past four decades, Winter has continuously updated our blade technology to keep pace with the ever increasing performance expectations of the market place.
ID saw blades were initially primarily used for slicing germanium and silicon semiconductor materials. A majority of ID saw blades are still used to process these materials. Now a broader set of materials such as GGG, samarium-cobalt, sapphire, magnetic irons, gallium arsenide / phosphide and quartz are sliced using ID saw technology.
