ID Saw Blades

We've been making ID saw blades since 1958, becoming the first blade manufacturer to manufacture 27" diameter blades in 1979 and achieving the world's first 34" ID saw blade in 1983. Over the past four decades, we have continuously updated our blade technology to keep pace with the ever increasing performance expectations of the market place.

ID saw blades were initially used primarily for slicing germanium and silicon semiconductor materials. A majority of ID saw blades are still used to process these materials. Now a broader set of materials such as GGG, samarium-cobalt, sapphire, magnetic irons, gallium arsenide/phosphide, and quartz are sliced using ID saw technology.
